For a suitable pool, an assessed eClear installation offers a route to chlorine-free operation. That means exploring a treatment routine built around oxygen technology and ionisation, rather than routine chlorine addition.
The manufacturer describes an electrolysis process that generates reactive oxygen species from water inside the treatment chamber. Their treatment role is oxidation: helping break down contaminants as water circulates.
Choose between oxygen with copper, added UV, or copper, silver and UV. These combinations bring different treatment stages together; selection should reflect the pool and its use.
THE TECHNOLOGY, EXPLAINED
eClear describes its oxygen stage as generating dissolved oxygen alongside reactive oxidising species through electrolysis. The oxidation stage helps treat contaminants in circulating water, while filtration removes particles. Both are part of the complete water-care system.
Copper ionisation releases copper ions from electrodes into the water. The level needs testing and control as part of the system’s operating routine.
Selected models add silver ionisation. Check the exact configuration: silver is not included in every eClear system.
UV models add a treatment chamber in the circulation circuit. Lamp condition, water flow and servicing are part of keeping that stage operating correctly.
